Kathleen C. Vogelpohl
Kathleen C. Vogelpohl, age 81, of Sycamore Healthcare Centre, formerly of 215 North 27th Street, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in the home. She was born October 9, 1929, a daughter of John Arthur & Florence J. (Hering) Wilson. She married Wilfred August Vogelpohl on October 14, 1950 at St. Francis Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 30, 1991.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Kathleen will always be remembered by our family. She worked so many years for Dad, Henry Holtschlag, and for us. What a picker and lover of strawberries! She always showed a sweet and light sense of presence, even in the later years when we would see her at St. Francis. How good that Kathy and Harry and Billy were there with her. May God bless your family as you remember your mother. She was quite a lady!
