Katherine Christine “Tina” Ransdell Rodgers

Katherine Christine “Tina” Ransdell Rodgers, age 45 of Quincy, died on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in her home. She was born on March 30, 1974 in Pekin, Illinois to James and Rita (Lichtenberger) Ransdell.

Tina was of the United Pentecostal Faith. She attended school in Hamilton, Illinois and Keokuk, Iowa before receiving her G.E.D. Tina was most recently employed at a convenience store in the Quincy area.

Tina cherished the time she spent with her friends and family. She loved to laugh and was always there to open her heart to anyone in need. Tina enjoyed going fishing and the many beloved pets she had over the years.

Survivors include her uncle, Dean Lichtenberger of Terre Haute, IN; two cousins, David Lichtenberger of Terre Haute, IN and Craig Roberts of Peoria, IL; a nephew, Bryan Walker of Hannibal, MO; Tina’s special friend Shannon Edwards Humes and her family. Numerous cousins and other family members also survive.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shaunne Walker, two aunts Sharon Roberts, and Deanna Lichtenberger and a cousin, Scott Roberts.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Tina. Burial will take place at a later date. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Tina was very special to all of us at North Adams. I want her to know I will take of her Juno for her. I will miss her alot

    I only knew Tina a short time, having met her while she was visiting a friend at the hotel where I worked. She was so much fun, such an easy person to get along with, funny, honest & kind… May God be merciful to her soul & May her memory be a blessing.
