Karl Joseph Kuhlmeier

Karl Joseph Kuhlmeier, age 57, of Quincy, died on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Blessing Hospital with loving friends and family by his side.

He was born on August 26, 1960 in Quincy, the son of Norbert & Catherine (Wiemelt) Kuhlmeier. He was a 1978 graduate of Quincy Senior High School. Karl married Ann DeMoss in 1984. They had 2 children. Karl later married Vicki (Underwood) Kuhlmeier. She survives.

Karl worked at Titan Wheel for over 30 years. He loved spending his time with family and friends.

He is survived by: HIS WIFE: Vicki Kuhlmeier; 2 children: Matthew Kuhlmeier of Quincy; Ashley Kuhlmeier of Leesburg, FL; 2 step children: Brandon Missel of Normal, IL, and Colleen Missel of Ottawa, IL, 5 grandchildren: Tylyn Kuhlmeier, Josalyn Kuhlmeier, Haven Kuhlmeier all of Quincy; Layla Morrone, AL; and Marlojean Greene of Florida. 2 sisters: Kay Schmitz and her husband Jim of Illinois and Susan Bryant and her husband Bruce of Indiana. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Dale Kuhlmeier.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
