Karen S. Hunolt

Karen S. Hunolt, age 67, of 513 Hampshire, died on Friday, April 20, 2012 in the home of her daughter at 601 Monroe. She was born on April 13, 1945 in Quincy the daughter of James & Ina (Hartsock) Nutt. She married Richard Hunolt on March 26, 1970 in Quincy. He survives. Mrs. Hunolt worked at the Adams County Youth Home. Karen was a member of “The Crossing 929”. She liked Bingo. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially “Texas Hold-em”. She liked mushroom hunting and all outdoor activities. Karen was a loving, giving and caring person who was generous with everyone.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mikka & Tammy for the support, love and taking care of our mother and thanks to all family members who helped.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Richard Hunolt, Keva Williamson and her husband Dana, and Kendra Hunolt all of Quincy.
NINE GRANDCHILDREN: Brittany Hunolt, Isaiah Platt, Rylee Platt, Anthony Sisk, Madison Henson, Kale Baker, Kaden Schmidt, Jonte Owens, and Kamric Kiture.
THREE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Braiah, Braylee and Brailyn Hunolt.
SIX BROTHERS: Robert Nutt and his wife Phyllis, Gary Nutt and his wife Lily, Ronnie Nutt, Mickey Nutt, Dennis Nutt and his wife Geri, and Randy Nutt.
THREE SISTERS: Roberta Guthrie, Jayma Arnold and her husband William and Cindy Willingham and her husband Milton.
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Shelly Hunolt, 2 grandchildren: Cory Baker and Jacob Platt. Brothers: Kerry Nutt and Donald Nutt and 2 sisters: Marcia Hale and Vickie Cole.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4-7 PM. Memorials may be made to the family.
