Karen Lynn McNett 61, of Quincy, died Sunday November 5, 2017 in Blessing Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1956 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of James B. Gilbert and Kathryn Bell Gilbert.

Karen enjoyed shopping, doing ceramics, crocheting and painting. She loved playing cards (Penny Ante), Yahtzee and talking on the phone. She was a former member of Faith Christian Church.

Karen is survived by her mother, Kathryn Jarvis; her companion, Stan McNett;
her children, Shawn (Jaime) Cole of Chatham, IL, Heather (David) Palmisano of Keokuk, IA and Lynn Cole of Taylorville, IL; her brothers, Delbert (Kelley) Gilbert of Charlestown, IA, James (Kathy) Gilbert of Keokuk, IA and William (Phyllis) Gilbert of Quincy.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ava and Zoe Cole; Izick, Bryce, Nevaeh, Julia and David III Palmisano and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, her step-father, Timothy Jarvis and
two sisters, Kathryn Louise and Patty Jean Gilbert; a niece, Carol Sue Holmes.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 12:00 noon
in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the Family.
