Karen K. Bowman, age 79, of Quincy, died Friday, December 2, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She was born November 13, 1943 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of John Edgar and Mabel (Davis) Frame.

She is survived her son, Dick Ty (Teresa) Bowman of Quincy; grandchildren, Laura Lawson of Quincy and Christopher Bowman of Quincy; two great-grandchildren, Payge (Garrett) Cline of Amarillo, TX and Tony Lawson of Quincy; one great-great granddaughter, Hazel Fansler of Amarillo; two sisters, Judy Iler and Marilyn Justice, both of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patsy Jean Griffin and Sally Munn; and two brothers, John and Robert Frame.

Ms. Bowman was employed as a housekeeper for several years and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She had a love for animals, especially her cats.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1:30 PM in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials are suggested to the family. Condolences may be shared online at www.dukerandhaugh.com.
