Karen J. Chepan age 53, of 1804 East Williams St., Decatur, IL 62526 died on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in St. Louis, MO. Karen was born December 31, 1954 in Bedford, IN a daughter of Charles and Martina (Sanders) Gray. She was a homemaker.
Karen was of the Christian faith. Her family was her pride and joy.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Harris and his wife Angie of Decatur;
two daughters, Carrie Golladay of Florida and Amanda Chepan of Decatur, IL;
10 grandchildren; two brothers, David and Charles Gray both of Decatur;
a sister, Linda Bronestine and her husband Randy of Quincy; nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Corbin Tasco.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to attend the graveside services.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Karen was a part of our Maranatha Assembly of God church family. We will always remember Karen for her smile and sweet spirit. It was always a joy to see her and we will miss her very much. We are comforted to know that she is in the Lord’s loving arms, and that we will see her smiling face again.
