Kameron Ezekiel Monty Burns

Kameron Ezekiel Monty Burns, age 1 year, of Quincy, died on Sunday, July 3, 2022 in St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He was born on May 4, 2021 in Quincy the son of Heather Denise (Ashby) and Antoine Jermaine Burns.

Kameron was sweet, loving, adventurous, and bright. His nicknames were ” Fat Fat and Kamster”. He loved taking walks and especially to see the animals at the deer park. He loved playing with his big brother Zane that would teach him many dance moves and he would love to watch his big brother play basketball. He loved Honey Nut Cheerios and French fries, and his favorite character was Elmo from Sesame Street. He had a smile that would just light up the room with his dimples and chubby cheeks. He was our Superman.

Kameron is survived by his parents, brother, Zane Burns; grandparents, Forrest and Kim Ashby and Demariss Burns all of Quincy; step grandmother, Elaine Henderson of Kansas City, MO and adopted grandparents Robert Ruff and Jean Butler. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, Lafayette Burns and maternal and paternal great grandparents and great aunt, Alicia Ashby.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
