June V. Kalhotka age 86, of Youngtown, AZ formerly of Quincy, died on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at

12:55 a.m. in the Sunview Care Center in Youngtown.

June was born September 21, 1921 in Timewell, IL, a daughter of Droy and Anna (Norton) Wear. She married Edmund Kalhotka on October 18, 1941 in Quincy’s St. Boniface Rectory; he preceded her in death.

June was a sales clerk at the Busy Bee from 1956 until her retirement in 1990.

She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include: a daughter, Mary Ann Juergens and her husband Rick of Glendale, AZ;

a son-in-law, Robert Sullens of Sunrise Beach, MO;

three grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild is on the way.

a sister, Joann Altgilbers of Quincy and nieces and nephews also survive.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Janet Sullens; two sisters

Betty Farrell and Virginia Stone.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 9:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Msgr. Michael Kuse. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM with a Parish Prayer service at 4:00. Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
