Julie A. McDonald, age 59, of Barry, Illinois died on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11:16 PM in Blessing Hospital. She was born on May 4, 1957 in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Eldon and Hattie (Wells) McDonald.
Julie was a cook and had most recently worked at the Barry Café.
She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
She is survived by:
HER MOTHER: Hattie Bower of Quincy
TWO CHILDREN: Bridget Denton and her husband Brad of Liberty, IL and Tanya Showers of Knoxville, IA.
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Brady Denton, Brayson Denton, Briley Denton and Damien Showers.
TWO BROTHERS: Harold McDonald and his wife Sandy of Quincy and David McDonald of Barry.
Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Julie was preceded in death by her father.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday. September 20, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. A Private Burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
