Julia A. Allison

Julia A. Allison, age 67, of Quincy, died Monday, May 30, 2022 at her residence.
She was born March 25, 1955 in Quincy, the daughter of Charles and Wilma Easley Stoner. She married William “Bill” Allison on October 23, 1976 in Quincy and he survives.

She is also survived by one daughter, Angie (Joe) Ware of Quincy; four grandchildren, Ashley Ware, Joey Ware, Maciah Smith and Jordan Ware, all of Quincy; one sister, Debbie Harness of Quincy; two brothers, Harlan Stoner of Palmyra and Larry Stoner of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jennifer Smith; and one brother, Jim Stoner (surviving wife, Linda).

Mrs. Allison was a 1973 graduate of Quincy High School and most recently worked at St. Mary’s Hospital as a cook. She was a member of The Crossing in Quincy. Julia enjoyed cooking, but her true love was for her family and sharing time together with them.

Cremation will be accorded. There will be no formal services. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dukerandhaugh.com.

    Angie, so sorry for your loss. Your mom was in my graduating class. Death leaves a heartache nothing can heal but love leaves memories nothing can steal. Thinking of you and your family during this time.
