Judy Reardon
Judy Reardon, age 62, of Quincy, died on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in her home. She was born on March 3, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Robert & Zelma (Simpson) Hall. She married Randy Reardon on April 21, 1979. He survives.
Judy loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved to be outdoors camping, fishing, or mushroom hunting in the spring. She loved to travel, some of her favorite places included the mountains in Colorado and the white sand beaches of Florida. Judy was an animal lover, over the years she rescued countless bunnies and birds that were injured. She loved spending time with her pets and they always brought a smile to her face. She also enjoyed door dashing in her spare time. She had a strong relationship with God, and would always remind her children and grandchildren to pray and stay close to Jesus. To say she will be missed is an understatement, she was such an important part in all of our lives. She fought a long hard battle with heart disease but we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by:
HER MOTHER: Zelma Hall
HER CHILDREN: Michael Reardon (Sarah), April Sprague and Elizabeth Reardon.
GRANDCHILDREN: Jeffrey, Brodie, Samantha, Alyssa, Natalie, Landon, Jackie, Liam and Athena Nicole expected in August.
GREAT-GRANDSON: Moses
SIBLINGS: Rickey Hall (Theresa) and Robert Hall.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Judy was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
