Judith A. “Judy” Schneider

Judith A. “Judy” Schneider, age 73, of 1433 N. 20th, Quincy, died on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 3:20 AM in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 26, 1941 in Quincy the daughter of Maurice and Mary (Genenbacher) Schneider. Judy was a graduate of Quincy Notre Dame. She worked as a pharmacy technician at the former St. Mary Hospital and then Blessing Hospital for 46 years. Judy was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Judy loved to go to the casino. She greatly adored her animals, especially her dog ‘Spanky’ and her cats. She was an avid reader. Judy also greatly loved to spend time with her many close friends and family.

Judy’s family greatly appreciates all the help given by the caring professionals at Quincy Medical Group, Blessing Hospital and Blessing Cancer Center.

She is survived by:

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Patricia Klingele.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 9:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society or to the Blessing Cancer Center.

    I worked with Judy for many years. She was a wonderful woman, and will be missed.
