Joyce Dolinar
Joyce Dolinar, age 89, of Quincy, died on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on March 29, 1931 in Quincy the daughter of Joseph and Violet (Felsman) Engels. She married John Dolinar. He preceded her in death. Joyce worked in the business office at St. Mary Hospital for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Joyce enjoyed painting pictures, being outside and working in her yard. Joyce also liked traveling, especially going to Florida.

Sister-in-law: Alberta Engels
Nieces and nephews along with their families also survive.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Joseph Engels and a sister: Norma Uhlenbrock.
Private services will be held. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or to the Good Samaritan Home Activities Fund. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Joyce was my coworker at my first job at St Mary’s Hospital and we sure had many great, fun times. Many laughs! One that comes to mind is when we had to share a secretarial chair because I didn’t have one. She made work fun but also taught me so much. One of the sweetest ladies I have known. God rest her soul.
