Joyce Ann Nichols

Joyce Ann Nichols, age 67, of Canton, MO, formerly of Quincy, was called home to the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2020 in Lewistown, MO. She was born on November 6, 1952 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (Reddick) Rardon. Joyce served in the Army National Guard. She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith. Joyce enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing cards. Joyce was a ‘people person’ always willing to help out others and loved spending her time with her family, especially the kids and grandkids.

She is survived by:
HER CHILDREN: Ruth Ann Ferrell and her husband Eric of Sherman, TX; Rita ‘Kay’ Collins of Canton, MO and Robert Nichols of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: August Elizabeth Ferrell; Grayson Matthew Ferrell, Levi William Alspaw; Christopher Wayne Alspaw; Jazlyne Louise Collins, Billy Dean Collins, RJ Nichols, Malachi Nichols, Genesis Nichols and Faith Kuntz;
SIBLINGS: Cindy Mason (Mark); Rita Robbins (Harlin); Robert Rardon (Sharon); Pam Leaver (Jack) and Rick Rardon (Julie)
COMPANION: Bernie English
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a very loving aunt, Ruby Jacobs also survive.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and 3 siblings: Arthur Rardon, Tom Rardon and David Rardon.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:30 until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    We love you and you will be missed by all the family I will miss you also you was the most caring nicest women I knew and we should all live our lives by the example u gave us when u was still alive my God hold u forever in his living care and your son’s and daughters hearts and help them heal with this lose
