Joshua Robert Stephenson, age 32, of 1112 Westwood Dr., died on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in the emergency room of Blessing Hospital. Joshua was born on August 10, 1983 in Quincy, the son of Doug Stephenson and Tracey (Hoebing) Stephenson Lawless.

He attended Quincy High School and received his GED on June 16, 2003.

Joshua attended The Crossing. He loved spending time with his two daughters, drawing, watching movies and was a football fan of the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed repairing cars and was willing to fix anything else that needed to be repaired.

He is survived by: two daughters, Allison and Alyssa of Ellsworth, KS; his mother, Tracey Lawless; and her husband Alan Lawless; a half-sister Anna Lawless, all of Quincy; his dad, Doug Stephenson and his wife Christina Stephenson; a half-brother, Andrew Stephenson; a half-sister, Michaelene Stephenson, all of Oklahoma: and his step-grandparents, Judy and Thomas Lawless of Quincy.
Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to his Daughters’ Education Fund.
