Joseph W. “Big Joe” Klitz
Joseph W. “Big Joe” Klitz, age 58, of Quincy, died on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:15 PM in Blessing Hospital. He was born on October 14, 1958 in Quincy the son of Wilbert and Elenore (Bohne) Klitz. Joe was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He was of the Catholic Faith. Big Joe had a great love for all of his nieces and nephews and they were a major part of his life. He was preceded in death by his childhood canine companion “Patches”.
He is survived by:
FIVE SIBLINGS: Tom Klitz and his wife Krista, Ruth Rogers, Annette Lupo, Yvonne Klitz, and Ted Klitz.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Donna Ahern and Jerry Klitz.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics.
Condolences to the family. It has been along time since I’ve seen Joe, but he is a friend that could never be forgotten! Rest in Peace Joe ! I will miss you!

Sorry to hear this about Joe. Use to all hang out when we were teenagers. Joe was a nice person. Everyone enjoyed him when he was around. Fly high Joe. Your going to be missed.
