    Dennis and Zellerman family…

My thoughts and prayers are with you on the passing of your father. It’s been many years since I went to school with you in Quincy. I just happened to be perusing information on the passing of the son of one of my friends there in Quincy and noticed the announcement about your father. I hope you find consolation in the thoughts and prayers of many friends, including one from a long time ago. Take good care of yourself.

So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He will always be remembered as a kind and gentle man. Living near his family and the beloved Edgewood Orchard, I grew up with Joe and Florence and their kids. I spent many hours around them, and they always made me feel welcome as a family member. Joe, as well as Florence, will always be fondly remembered by me. My thoughts and prayers are with Dennis, Gary, and Jim (all were my childhood playmates) during this time of loss.

I was a care giver for Joe and he was the nicest man. We spent a lot of time together. He missed his wife, now he is in heaven with her. My deepest condolences to Dennis, Gary, Jim and their families. Will try to attend his visitation on Thursday.

Joe was my bus driver for many years and I have very fond memories of him. He was such a nice man, and like it says above, always had a smile for us. I loved going to the Orchard to get apples and cider and seeing him there. I always thought it was cool that our bus, #25, was parked by his house and orchard. My deepest sympathy to the Zellerman family.
