Johnna L. (Lemon) Drake

Johnna L. (Lemon) Drake, age 51, of 606 Wexford Drive, Quincy, died on Friday, January 30, 2015 in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO due to complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was born on July 12, 1963 in Quincy, the daughter of Jack W. & Ginger (Chambers) Lemon. Johnna worked as a respiratory therapist at various places over the years. She was a member of Madison Park Christian Church. Johnna was an avid reader and had a great love for animals.

She is survived by:
HER MOTHER: Ginger Hesse of Quincy
HER FATHER: Jack Lemon of Marble Falls, TX
ONE SISTER: Jill Helkey and her husband Stan.
Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Augusta, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to the Quincy Humane Society.

    Our sincere condolences to the family. Johnna was a lovely spirit and we will remember the times fondly that we spent with her on her visits to see her Dad and Eve in Texas.

    Went to high school with her. I remember her as a very pretty and very friendly gal. My heart is saddened with this news. My condolences to her friends and family.
