We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Jay was an excellent friend to me and my family. He was always there for us in our times of need. I will always remember my grade school days when Jay would hand us kids free drink coupons at Ford Hopkins Drug Store. He always had such a big smile on his face when he would see us kids walk in the door at the drug store. I’m am so sorry that he is gone. If there is anything we can do for you and Your family, please do not hesitate to ask.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Brent Smith

Dear Monica and Terrell.
Was so sorry to hear about your loss of your father and grandfather. Would like to go to visitation, however have people coming this weekend. My deepest sympathy to all of you and your family. Would like to see you again sometime. Miss seeing you!! Give me a call sometime, I don’t have your number anymore or when I called it was a different concern.
Hope you and Terrell are well and maybe we can talk sometime. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Albright was my first boss, I was 15 when I began working for him at Ford Hopkins in 1973, where I worked for almost 3 years. He and my grandfather, Ralph Craddock were great friends. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Monica and Family, I just got my newspaper after being away a few days and sadly read the passing of your dad, please accept my condolences…Your dad was a very special person, I remember when I first moved to Macomb from Massachuesetts, how your dad was so helpful to me and we became very good friends…You may remember me I worked at Wal-Mart and then managed the gas station…Your dad was a truly awesome man and he will be greatly missed…God Bless you and your family…
I was deeply saddened to hear of Jay’s passing. I grew up in Macomb(high school years) and am acquainted with his sister Susan. My step-father(Ennesford Kelly) worked with Jay for several years! Jay was always customer/friend oriented and was extremely “professional” but al very caring. I apologize this note is so late but I too just lost a loved one-my daughter-i-law on 31 Oct. May God bless and keep you all safe in His arms!
Jay was always that pharmacist that would take the time to listen, share a thought and try to make me smile as I was going through the joys & challenges of raising my 5 children~1 single & 2 sets of twins. Fortunately, we were all pretty healthy but when we did need him, Jay was always a friendly face & made me feel things would be better. He was a blessing to many….including me! I have faith our heavenly Father has a wonderful place for him.
My prayers are with you all as you celebrate Jay’s life and experience his passing.

Aunt Lena,
My thoughts are with you and Jay’s children. I won’t be able to make the funeral due to work obligations. I will call you next week.
