John K. Feld, Jr. age 59, of Quincy, died on Friday, November 13, 2020 in his home. He was born on April 30, 1961 in Quincy, Illinois the son of John & Sallie (Summers) Feld, Sr.

John was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. John was a concrete finisher in the Quincy area for many years. He was of the Catholic Faith.

John loved the outdoors and being down by the river. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and trap shooting. He was a former member of the North Side Boat Club and the Quincy Volunteer Emergency Corps. His favorite time was that spent with family and his dog, ‘Sonny’.
John was always proud of the fact that he was a twin with his sister Janet, he had twins in his daughter Julia and son John D., and had twin grandchildren in Kyle and Kiara.

He is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Rene Smith and her husband James of Springfield, MO and Julia Feld of High Ridge, MO.
FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Kyle Miller, Kiara Miller, Dani Lynn Smith, Julianna Feld and Riley Feld.
FOUR SIBLINGS: Pam Gilker and her husband Earl; DiAnna Lehner and her husband Wayne; Chris Moore and her husband Roger and Janet Feld.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son John D. Feld and an uncle Charles ‘Bill’ Feld.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
