John Henry Watson
John Henry Watson, age 50, of Quincy died on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in his home. John was born on March 7, 1971 in Rock Island, IL, the son of Daniel and Vickie Kay (Myers) Watson, Sr. He married Sheila Ann Cramer. She preceded him in death July 25, 2005.
John was a graduate of Quincy High School. He was employed as a welder at Titan Wheel. John was a bicycle mechanic. He loved riding his bike “Lolo’ and building bikes. John also loved a good joke, to wrestle, the Cardinals and he was a billards fan.
He is survived by his father, Daniel; his children: Audrieanna (Kerry) Givens of Canton, MO, Jonathan Bryieson Watson, Brittany Ball and Kashious Watson-Williams, all of Quincy; grandchildren: Aleighseana, Alaisha, Zamier, Raidyien, Wade and Saiann; siblings: Bobbette Niekamp of Mendon, Donald Watson, Sr., Kisha Watson and Melissa “Moose” Watson all of Quincy, Teresa Cissna of Camp Point, Jessica Gastelum and Christopher Watson of CA; nieces and nephews: Ashley (Joe) Friday, Donny (Whitney) Watson, II, Roxanne Tournear, Timothy Baker, Daniel Watson, Will Owsley, Donovan Barnes, Kaylee Barnes, Kassidy Bock, Scottie Watson, Stacy (Bob) Cobb, Jacob Watson, Nicholas Watson and Paige Watson. Numerous great nieces and nephews also survive.
John was preceded in death by his mother, his wife, a brother, Daniel “Boone” Watson, mother and father-in-law, Linda and Richard Cramer, brother-in-law, Richard Cramer, Jr, maternal grandmother, Opal Myers and a sister, Maritha Lynn Watson.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Kisha Watson.
