John F. Harders, age 78, of Quincy, died on August 2, 2021 in the Sunset Home. He was born on March 5, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Slader) Harders. He married Mata Peecher on September 25, 1992. She survives.

John enjoyed bowling and NASCAR. He also dearly loved his dogs, ‘Bella Ann’ and ‘Teddy Bear’.

GRANDCHILDREN: Jasmine, Kayla and Joel, Jr.
GREAT-GRANDSON: Robert
STEP CHILD: Kimberly Beem
STEP-GRANDCHILDREN: Shaylnn, Miranda, Brenna and Kamira.
STEP GREAT GRANDSONS: Tyson and Sebastian
A BROTHER: Ronald Harders
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Henry ‘Hank’ Harders.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial will take place at Quincy Memorial Park.
