John Davis Wade
John Davis Wade, age 47, of Columbus, IL died on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in his home. He was born on September 12, 1973 in Quincy, IL the son of Larry & Delores (Hignite) Wade. John was a graduate of Liberty High School. He enjoyed working on cars. He liked tire and small engine repair and also enjoyed camping.
He is survived by:
HIS MOTHER: Delores Wade
TWO BROTHERS: Larry Wade, Jr. of Quincy and Clifford Wade and his wife Rhonda of Ewing, MO.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Church at 5th and Lind. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
So sorry for your loss. John was a very good friend and I will miss seeing him coming in to the gas station. Rest In Peace John. I’ll see you soon.
