John David “J.D.” Feld

John David “J.D.” Feld, age 24, of High Ridge, MO, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 11, 2018 in his home. John was born on August 12, 1993 to John K. Feld, Jr. and Rachael M. Shaw in Quincy, IL.

John had a big heart and was passionate about being a father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandchild, cousin and friend. He was a 2011 cancer survivor and graduated from North West High School in Cedar Hill, Mo in 2011. He went on to study Business Management at Colorado Tech. John was actively involved in Autism Awareness. He was very heartfelt and passionate about his family, friends and especially his son Riley. Riley was the apple of his eye and truly was a gift from God as he loved spending time with him. John loved to listen to his music and watch movies. He loved spending time outdoors hanging out with family and friends. The time spent joy riding and down by the riverfront taking in God’s creation brought him joy and solitude. His presence, smile and tender heart will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Riley Michael John Feld of Fenton, MO; his mother, Rachael M. Shaw of High Ridge, MO; his father, John K. Feld, Jr. of Quincy, IL; his sisters, Johna Rene’ Smith (James) of Springfield, MO and Julia ‘Sissy” Feld of High Ridge, MO; his Aunts, Julie Dailey (Russ) of Novato, CA, Pam Gilker (Earl) of Quincy, IL, DiAnna Lehner (Wayne) of Quincy, Chris Moore ( Roger) of Quincy, IL, and Janet Feld of Quincy, IL; Two nieces, Danilyn & Gracie; his maternal grandparents, Nancy Boden & Darlene Shy of New London, MO and Hollis and Barb Coulter, of LaGrange, MO; many cousins and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joannie Boden of New London, Mo: and his paternal grandparents Jim and Sallie Feld.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Eagles Alps 3737 North 5th Street, Quincy, IL. Rev. Lance Hoelscher will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to cover expenses. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. www.dukerandhaugh.com
