John “David” Coleman

John “David” Coleman, age 49, of 611 So. 21st St., Quincy, died on Monday, August 24, 2015 in Quincy. He was born August 30, 1965 in Quincy, a son of Harold & Rose Mary (Griffin) Coleman.

David was a 1983 graduate of Urbana High School. He worked as a machinist at Konstant Products.

He was of the Christian faith. His favorite pastime was going fishing. He was an Elvis Presley fan.

Survivors include: his dad, Harold Coleman of Quincy; two daughters, Amanda & Rebecca; siblings, Martha (Eric) Rainbolt of Waynesville, MO, Rose Blakeley of Boisser City, LA, Carol Favre of Payson, IL, Francis (Angela) Coleman of Quincy, Brenda (Scott) Rickard of Quincy and Susan (Mike) Hummel of Liberty, IL. Aunts, uncles, many nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one nephew and one niece.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery by Rev. Roy Bauer. There is no visitation but family and friends are invited to attend the graveside services.
The family requests that memorials be made as a donation to your local food bank in David’s memory. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
