John “Bill” Hainline

John “Bill” Hainline, age 66, of 1416 So. 8th Street, Quincy, died on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in his home. He was born on January 9, 1945 in Quincy, the son of Raymond Hainline and Dorothy Sherman. She married Barbara O’Dear on September 25, 1978 in Quincy and she survives.

John greatly enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard and assisting family members with projects. He was a member of the Columbus Road Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
ONE DAUGHTER, Christine Hainline of Jacksonville, IL;
THREE BROTHERS, Jerry (Karen) Hainline, James Hainline and Larry, all of Quincy;
FOUR SISTERS, Shirley Mettler of Galesburg, IL, Ruby Shaffer and Karen (John) Mutchler, all of Quincy and Bonnie (Gary) Rankin of Coatsburg, IL;
and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

John was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ginny and Betty and two brothers, Michael & Raymond.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. George Tomko. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 noon until the time of services at 1:00. Memorials may be made to the Family.

    Uncle Bill, it has been almost a year already that we lost you. It still seems so unreal that you are gone. You are very much missed by so many. I know in my heart though that u are an angel above looking down and guilding us. Thank you for all you have done in your days on earth. I am so thankful to have a uncle like you. I love and miss you.

    UNCLE BILL IT IS SO HARD TO BELIEVE YOUR NOT HERE WITH US,BUT I KNOW YOUR IN HEAVEN NOW AS ONE OF GODS ANGELS,BUT WE MISS U LIKE CRAZY.. IT’S SO HARD TO HAVE LOST YOU AND U ARE SADLEY MISSED BY ALL THE FAMILY ESPECIALLY MY DAD..
