Joanne M. Schlepphorst, age 94, of Quincy, died on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on March 10, 1928 in Quincy to Theodore and Mildred (Heintz) Ehrhart. She married Robert W. Schlepphorst on September 9, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2017.

Joanne received her Bachelor’s Degree from Quincy College and worked as a medical technologist in the Quincy area.

Joanne was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was also a member of Quincy Country Club, the Women’s City Club and Arts Quincy. She was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by: FOUR CHILDREN: Janet Graham and her husband William; Jim Schlepphorst and his wife Kathy; Pamela Holliday; and Dr. Richard Schlepphorst and his wife Sandy all of Quincy.
EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN: Lynn Argabright; Elizabeth Gall and her husband Brian; Eric Schlepphorst and his fiance Katy Mueth; Jennifer Holliday, William Holliday, Steve Schlepphorst and his wife Samantha; Mark Schlepphorst and his wife Megan; and Dr. Kayt McDaniel and her husband Kevin.

Numerous great-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, Joanne was also preceded in death by brothers Theodore and Donald Ehrhart.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or to Quincy Notre Dame.
