Joanne Bonness, age 85, of Adams Pointe, formerly of New York City, died on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Adams Pointe.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11:00 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church from 10:30 until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the Adams Pointe Activity Fund. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I only got to know Joanne for a brief time but I am glad I did. She was one feisty lady! Thanks to her I have a finer appreciation of classic hollywood movies and actors. I enjoyed the bits of movie trivia she shared with me and now I always have to laugh when someone says, ‘Who knows’ because, as Joanne reminded me, The Shadow knows! I will miss her.
