I was privileged to work with Joann on two other of her volunteer involvements–commitments which were not mentioned, but to which she was totally dedicated. For years she typed up all the sets of cards for the St. Francis School library card catalog. Also, for years she supported the Right to Life of Adams County by regularly staffing their Resource Center. It was a pleasure to always be able to count on Joann.
So sorry for your loss of dear Joann. May God’s peace be with all of you.

Joann and my mother (Norma Thieman (Liesen) were best of friends as children growing up on Oak Street. Mom would always love to tell stories of her and Joann.

What a nice lady!!! Meet her when I first stared attending St Francis Church as she taught to be a Sacristan. Took the time to type me out some very helpful notes to guide me along the way. Good teacher. Rest in Peace Joann.
