Joan M. Koetters
Joan M. Koetters, age 61, of 923 East 1323rd Lane, Liberty, IL died on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 18, 1952 in Quincy, the daughter of Raymond & Ermilla (Peters) Genenbacher. She was a graduate of Payson Seymour High School and Gem City Beauty College. She married James “Jim” Koetters in St. Anthony Catholic Church on February 10, 1973.
Mrs. Koetters operated a daycare from her home for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and camping. She loved her grandkids and was always helping others.

TWO CHILDREN: Ted Koetters and his wife Robin of Payson and Chris Koetters and his significant other Susan of Louisiana, MO
TWO GRANDCHILDREN: Jordan Koetters and Jackie Koetters.
TWO BROTHERS: Eugene Genenbacher and his wife Mary and Roger Genenbacher and his wife Susan
TWO SISTERS: Linda Leasman and Sharon Zanger
ONE BROTHER IN LAW: Ed Wiewel
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Janet Wiewel.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 9:15 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

jim and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers, joanie was such a good friend, I always looked forward to seeing her at heavenly bodies and our ladies nights out we all loved to giggle and joke also I never turned down a goodie she made for us she was special ,she will be missed
