Jet Feramisco

With profound sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved son, Jet Maddox Feramisco, who left us on August 16, 2024, due to a tragic bicycle accident. Jet was an exceptional individual whose vibrant presence touched the lives of everyone around him. Jet was born on January 8, 2007 in Fort Myers, FL. Jet was a Senior at Quincy Senior High School.

A remarkable student and leader, Jet was a proud member of the National Honor Society, captain and MVP of the Quiz Bowl team, and an active volunteer. His dedication extended beyond academics; he was also a valued member of the track team, participating in discus, shot put, and long jump.

Jet had a passion and love of music, showcasing his talents on the flute, bassoon, bass, keyboard, guitar, and many other instruments. His musical abilities were matched by his sense of humor and kindness, making him a cherished friend and beloved by all who knew him. He dreamed of attending college and aspired to become a lawyer, historian, or state senator. He was eagerly anticipating his senior year, filled with dreams and aspirations for the future.

Raised with love by his mother, Jet was known for his generosity, unwavering kindness, and infectious laughter. His selflessness was exemplified by his final wish to be an organ donor. May those who received these precious gifts of life honor his memory by living with love and spreading joy to their own loved ones.

In the last year, Jet discovered a deep and inspiring faith in God that touched many lives. His spiritual journey brought him peace and offered hope to those around him. As we grieve his loss, we find solace in the belief that his faith continues to guide and uplift us.

Jet’s legacy of kindness, generosity, and faith will remain with us always. His spirit will forever be a beacon of light, reminding us to live with love, laughter, and compassion.

He is survived by:
HIS MOTHER: Jamie Grace Boeing of Quincy
HIS MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Geri Dickinson along with her husband Christopher of Gulf Breeze, FL.
HIS MATERNAL GRANDFATHER: James Fortner along with his wife Brenda of Camp Point, IL
AUNTS AND UNCLES: Scott Sharp (Heather), Ezra Howell, Mahala Fortner, and Erika Fortner.
Numerous other relatives including his father Michelangelo Feramisco, his paternal grandfather Joseph Feramisco along with his wife Carmen, and many, many friends also survive.
