Jerry L. Durbin, Sr.

Jerry L. Durbin, Sr., 74, of Quincy died Friday December 22, 2017 in his home. Jerry was born December 15, 1943 in Quincy, the son of Dwight and Wuanita (Jones)Durbin. He married Diane Robbins on September 7, 1966 in Quincy. She preceded him in death on June 27, 2014.

Jerry served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Gardner Denver in LaGrange, Missouri as a machine operator. He was a member of Luther Memorial Church. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and epically loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his two sons; Jerry L. Durbin, Jr. and his wife Cindy of Payson and Tim D. Durbin of Quincy; a daughter, Christine Broeker and her husband James of Quincy; one brother, Jack Durbin and his wife Bette of Center, MO; two sisters, Teresa Snyder and her husband Chuck of Quincy and Patty Heinen. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Courtney and Cody Ash, Skyler Durbin, Brandon, Eric, Gabbie and Nathan Broeker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Robert Durbin, Cheryl Hoener, Karen Druffel, Deanna Marshall and Kathy Carroll.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. Tony Metz. Visitation will be Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 4:30 until 7:00 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials may by made to Luther Memorial Church. www.dukerandhaugh.com
