Jerome W. Shoop Sr., age 73, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in his home. He was born on November 23, 1949 in Quincy, the son of Vernie and Pauline Shoop. He married Nancy (Friday) Shoop.

Jerome was an entrepreneur (Jack of All Trades) and was involved in multiple business endeavors. He had many certificates from numerous different organizations. He was of the Christian faith.

FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Jerry Shoop III; Devin Shoop; Timothy Duran Garland Shoop; Ashton (Shoop) Underwood; Brinnley Shoop
SIX GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Elisianna Underwood; Kiran Garland; Freya Shoop; Lilly Rose Shoop; Jerry Shoop IV, Raylyn Shoop

Jerome was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Shoop, his parents (Vernie and Pauline Shoop), four brothers: Thomas Alan Shoop, Buddy Lloyd Shoop, Charles Shoop, Vernie Shoop. His sister: Carolyn Sue (Shoop) Dunivin and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is having a private celebration of life.
