Jenelle Nicole Davidson
Jenelle Nicole Davidson, age 29, of Quincy, IL, died on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 4, 1992 in Quincy. Jenelle was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. Jenelle was a florist at many local floral shops in the Quincy area. She most recently worked as a caregiver at CareLink. She was also a member of Liberty Christian Church.
Jenelle loved the outdoors: camping, fishing and mushroom hunting. She loved being an aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, doing crafts and making things for them. Jenelle also enjoyed singing Karaoke. She never met a stranger and always lit up any room she walked into. Though all of her health problems and pain, she still always had a smile. Jenelle was also an animal lover, and considered ‘Grabie’ her feline child.

HER FIANCE: Luke Unglesbee
SIBLINGS: Jaclyn Starman (Chris); Jessica Null (Carson); Tera Smith (Todd); Matthew Thomley (Zayna); Kari Nicholson (Danny); Lacey Lewis; and Cameron McBride (Dashon)
Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Jenelle was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother-in-law: Adam Drebes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4:00PM until 7:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Private family services will be held at a later date with interment in Greenmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family to help with expenses.
I was so saddened to hear about Jenelle’s passing. I was her 7th grade Literacy teacher at QJHS and remember her fondly! My deepest sympathies to her family.

From being in Choir together through out high school, you always lit up the room with your smile and knew how to make someones day. You will be deeply missed. Fly high Jenelle.
Heaven gained a beautiful soul. She was a sweet, loving and caring person. She is at rest now from all her pain and suffering, and held in our loving Savior’s arms. We will miss her and grieve because of our loss. Stay brave Karen and family and let God comfort and strengthen you.

I’m so heartbroken to hear about this. Jenelle and I lived on the same floor at C-SC, and she had the nicest and sweetest personality. She will be missed!
