Jeffrey L. Courtois

Jeffrey L. Courtois age 56, of Quincy died on Friday, May 11, 2018 in Blessing Hospital.

Jeff was born in Quincy on October 1, 1961 a son of Raymond L. and Maxine (Ellis) Courtois, Sr.

He had most recently worked as a night stockman for County Market and previously had worked on the nightshift at Quincy Medical Group. He served in the U.S. Army.

Jeff was a huge Chicago Bears football fan along with a Cubs fan. He was also an avid bowler.

Survivors include his three sons, Jeffrey S. Courtois; Cecil J. Courtois and Justin T. Courtois all of Quincy; grandchildren, Shay Messenger, Keenan and Brooke Courtois; Treven and Athena Courtois.

A brother, Rod “Weasel” Courtois of Sommerville, SC also survives,

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Raymond L. Courtois, Jr. and a sister, Denise Duesterhaus.

Everyone is welcome to join the family for a luncheon at Rocky Point after graveside services conclude from 12-3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join the family.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 in New Providence Cemetery near Ursa. Family and friends are invited to the graveside services.
Memorials may be made in care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.

    I am so sorry I can’t be there with you bro. Your friendship these last few years has helped me get through some pretty hard times. I loved our early morning talks. Brother, you are already missed more than I can tell you.
