Jeffrey Dean Milo Dale Austin, age 27, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Quincy, IL. Jeff was born on April 30, 1997, a son to Dean (Phyllis Fletcher) Austin and Sonya (Robert Pickett) Simpson.

Jeff graduated from Quincy Public High School and worked at Titan Wheel. He will be remembered by family and friends for his goofy, funny, jokester personality who enjoyed making the people around him smile and laugh. Jeff loved music, mushroom hunting, fishing, gaming, and was an amazing cook. He loved to dress sharply and was especially proud of his shoe collection which featured his favorite Nikes. He loved to skateboard and was teaching his beloved son Grayson all about the sport. Jeff very much enjoyed road trips and liked to travel to different states, wanting his family to experience new places. Prior to his passing, he was planning a trip to Georgia with Grayson, Ensley, and Stormy. Everyone that knew Jeff understood his children and family were what he treasured most in this world. He was very proud of his children and loved them with all his heart.

In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his maternal grandmother, Tamara Simpson Jackson (Robert) and CHILDREN: Grayson and Ensley Austin and their mother, Stormy Livengood. SIBLINGS: Jodie (John) Shelton, Jamie Austin (Vanessa VonBurg), Jeremy Austin (Kristi Shepherd), Shaina Kreoger, Devin Vawter, and Jacob Vawter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins with whom he was very close.

Jeff was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Austin.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. A Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
