Jason Joseph Patterson

Jason Joseph Patterson, age 42, of Quincy, died on June 20, 2022 in his home. He was born on March 30, 1980 in Sedalia, MO. He was the son of Robert & Judith (Croarkin) Patterson. Jason worked as a mechanic and also in construction. He was of the Catholic Faith. Jason enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling out and bicycle riding. He also liked fireworks and was an avid animal lover.

Jason is survived by:
HIS FATHER: Robert Patterson
CHILDREN: Zachary Patterson, Haley Patterson, Grace Patterson and Tori Patterson.
GRANDCHILDREN: Harley Patterson, Hazel Miller and an additional grandchild on the way.
SISTER: Samantha McFarland (Dustin)
Other relatives also survive.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Judy.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    I always enjoyed Jason’s passion for whatever he was working on. I will remember him as a cousin that always stopped everything to catch up when we saw each other, and a friend. I’m so sorry his life was cut short and want to express my deepest sympathy to his friends and family.

    I’m so very sorry for your loss. Jason was a High school classmate of my daughter’s. He was very kind and always helpful. A wonderful man gone much to soon.
