Jan had such style from herself to her floral designs. When I lived in Quincy she came to my house and took my idea and made it better…..it was timeless and used until I moved…I still have the materials and will use them again. I also helped her at Roderick P Miller’s, she was always fun and open to great looks, although she didn’t need much help. You’ve lost a jewel but she shines above on all of you

Charlie, My condolences on the death of your wife and my cousin and friend, Jan. As neighbors and cousins we spent a lot of time together on Springfield Rd. She was a great lady. We now have the common thread of losing our wives much too soon. I grieve with you and can say that God will heal your broken heart in time. Give my love to your family and to Elsie, Kathy, Margie and Beth Ann.

Elaine, please allow me to extend my condolences to you and your family. I have a fresh sense of your loss in that we laid my own mother to rest just this past July with Duker and Haugh’s assistance. Words of comfort are difficult to find. You’re in my thoughts in the difficult days ahead. I hope the sadness you feel is countered by thanks and appreciation for the life that you were able to share.

Louie and I would like to express our sympathy to Chuck, Christopher, Brian, Elaine and Jan’s Mom, sisters and families. I was so glad that she and Chuck attended the 50th class reunion at E.P.C.H.S. in July and that we had time for a short visit. Cherish all of your memories, as I will, of our friendship and high school days.
