Jane Woerman
Jane Woerman age 72, of Quincy died on Friday, August 27, 2021, in Blessing Hospital. Jane was born in Quincy on May 1, 1949, the daughter of Herman and Lorene (Requet) Soebbing. She married Rick L. Woerman on July 20, 1968, and he survives.
Jane was retired, and had most recently worked at State Street Bank, Eighth & State location. She formerly worked at C&D Printing and Law offices of Sean W Scott, Esq. while living in Florida.
She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and St. Boniface Grade School. Jane was a lifelong Catholic.
Jane’s grandchildren and family were truly her pride and joy. She and her husband Rick loved their time together and taking trips to Florida. Jane loved going to the beach and loved seeing the dolphins.
In addition to her husband Rick, survivors include their children: Debbie (Jason) Haynie of Clearwater, FL; Sara (Mike) Carico; Traci (Jason) Calvin and Shawn (Tina) Woerman all of Quincy. Her beloved grandchildren: Dustin (Ally) Miller; Dylan Haynie; Nicholas (Kristin) Hardy; Shelbie (D.J.) Redd; Ronald Carico (deceased); Jacob Calvin and fiancé Caroline Hartweg; Alyssa Calvin and fiancé Greg Mitchell-Pasch; Andrew Woerman and fiancé Taylor Kurfman; and Alexis Woerman. Great-Grandchildren: Dane and Addy Miller; Owen, Grady and Nevn Redd; Stella and Olivia Hardy; Bryer Calvin and Kayzlee Mitchell-Pasch. Her pet dogs, Bailey, and Bella.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a stepbrother, Hugh Soebbing, and grandson Ronald Carico.
The Woerman family extends their gratitude to the medical staff at Blessing Hospital for the great care Jane received especially while she was in I.C.U. and the COVID Unit.
She fought very hard to beat COVID, and the support she received was tremendous.
A Memorial Visitation is planned for Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Humane Society. Please wear a face mask if attending the memorial visitation.

I am so sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. We were very good friends in high school and then lost touch. My prayers are with all of you.
