Jamie D. Harvey

Jamie D. Harvey, age 36, of 1728 North 17th, died on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Ursa, IL. He was born on February 7, 1977 in Quincy, the son of James & Linda (Morgan) Snow. Jamie was a 1995 graduate of Quincy Senior High and had attended the John Wood Community College Truck Driver Training. Jamie was a truck driver for various companies in the area. He had previously worked for Knapheide Manufacturing and Titan Wheel. Jamie was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by:
HIS MOTHER: Linda Faler and her husband David of Quincy;
HIS STEP-FATHER: Lee Harvey and his wife Janet of Quincy
HIS SIGNIFICANT OTHER: Rebecca Sheaff of Quincy
THREE CHILDREN: Christopher, Kayla, Kierra
HIS SISTER: Leslie Harvey and her fiance Paul Williamson of Columbia, MO.
HIS STEP-GRANDMOTHER: Ruth Harvey.
Numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives also survive.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Helen & Richard Johnson, a grandfather Ernest Lee Morgan and a child Angel Lee Harvey.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Jamie’s Children or to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

    I was so sad to hear of this news about Jamie–shocked really. I have so many memories of us from first grade when he was still a Snow, through our years of growing up and even our partying days. I will miss you Jamie!
