James L. “Jim” Barger
James “Jim” L. Barger, age 68, of Quincy, died on January 26, 2019 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on April 12, 1950 in Quincy, the son of Virgil and Mary (Blickhan) Barger. He married Sharon McGraw on July 4, 1986. She survives.
James graduated from Quincy High School. He was employed by Knapheide Manufacturing as a welder, retiring after 39 years.
He is survived by his wife, children: Deanna (Scott) Baze, Donna (Jim) Hultz and Ronda (Kenneth) Moore all of Quincy; six grandchildren: Brandon Baze, Anna (Hultz) Lopez, Cory Baze, Taylor (Hultz) Koch, Nathan Laws and Eddie Moore and ten great-grandchildren; two sisters: Connie Mason and Dorothy Koehler.
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
James was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and two brothers, John and Jerry Barger.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery.
