James L. Hammer

James L. Hammer, age 58, of the Lampe Hi-Rise, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in his home. He was born on July 8, 1954 in Edgemont, CA the son of James Watson & Elizabeth Susan (Verdier) Hammer. He married Pamela M. Bizaillion. Mr. Hammer was a chef and a truck driver over the years. He served in the Army during the Vietnam era. He was of the Catholic Faith. James also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by:
TWO SONS: Anthony W. Hammer of Quincy and Michael J. Hammer and his wife Beth of Quincy.
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Korbin E. Hammer, Alexie D. Hammer, Leah K. Hammer and Lydia M. Hammer.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Hammer and a sister: Robin Hammer.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 9:30 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment in Sunset Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the services at the church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
