James E. Farris, age 74, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Quincy, died on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Tucson, AZ. He was born on April 6, 1947, the son of Alexander W. and Lorene (English) Farris.

James served his country during the Vietnam War, December 1964 – December 1970. He was a dam supervisor for the Corps of Engineers until his retirement.

He loved riding his Harley Davidson, antique motorcycles, fishing and was a rockhound.

James is survived by his children: Terrisa Lousie Watkins and James E. Farris, Jr., grandchildren: Kayla (John) Ballenger, Kristi (Kevin) Thompson and Johnathan Watkins; great grandchildren: Reilly, Skyler and Tegan Thompson; siblings: Rita, Kay, Wendy, and Jack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Alexander and sister Patricia.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment at Sunset Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
