James B. Powell, age 49, of 210 Kentucky, died on January 19, 2015 in his home. He was born on December 23, 1965 in Quincy, IL the son of Wayne & Sandra (Failor) Powell.

He is survived by:
His fiance: Jackie Edwards of Quincy
THREE STEP-CHILDREN: Michael Shipley of Quincy; Renee Shipley of Quincy, & Christy Edwards of Revere, MO.
Numerous Grandchildren
Aunts: Shirley Thomas, Anne Robinson, and Judy Powell and Donna Powell.
Uncle: M. James Failor
Numerous cousins and other relatives also survive.

James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Bernard James Powell.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
