Jaheim Raspberry
Jaheim Raspberry, age 18, of Quincy, Illinois passed on May 10, 2021. Jaheim was born on November 15, 2002. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Niffen officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the services at 1:00 p.m.
Jaheim was the son of Alberta Johnson-Cotton and Rodriguez Raspberry, Stepfather William Cotton. He is also survived by 3 brothers: Saveon Lewis, Tra-Shon Dickson, and Nicholas Salyer. Jaheim was expecting a son in June of 2021, Jaheim, Jr. by Erica Hudson. Grandmother: Patricia Davis, Foster Grandmother: Roma Salyer 6 uncles: Dean Elzea, Joseph (Becky) Elzea, William Elzea, Roland (Tammy) Johnson and Roldan (Michelle) Johnson and Tony Brooks. Also survived by 4 aunts, Mary Simmons, Deana Scott, Paula Richmond and Terri Elzea, one niece, Brelynn Winner, daughter of Saveon Lewis and several cousins.
Jaheim was preceded in death by his grandfather Owen Abbey, his son, Jahmari Raspberry and a cousin, Roxy Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Marley Abbey, Patrick Lewis, Tony Brooks, Austin Wyckoff, Damon Hudson, Darius Lilly, Roldan Johnson Jr., and Skyler Call.
Jaheim loved to blare his music for everybody to hear. He loved being silly and seeing others smile. He had a smile that would light up a room. He was excited about becoming a new father. Jaheim definitely loved being behind the wheel and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

I’m so sorry for your loss I loved Kamar like he was my nephew remember times of us just riding around listening to music going to the park with the kids and playing he was always with us when he was younger the time we took him to the zoo he smiled all day long I can’t believe he’s gone I’m going to miss him very much

We used to live in Quincy. Kmar was friends w my son Les. Him and Saveon ate at my house many of nights. Kmar was a good kid, polite and kind. My love and prayers go to the family.

I was Jaheim’s second grade teacher at Washington. He was a fun kid with a smile on his face no matter what was going on. Sorry for your loss!

He lives close to me and I could tell he loves riding that bike. He was an amazing man to his lovely girlfriend. He will be missed.
