Jacqueline F. Mahair

Jacqueline F. Mahair, age 82, of Quincy, died on Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on October 9, 1934 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Edwin & Margaret (Vosse) Meise. She married George Mahair on July 25, 1953 in St. John Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1996.

Along with her husband George, Jacqueline worked at their family business Brinkoetter Monument for many years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She loved to travel and to play cards.

She is survived by:
ONE DAUGHTER: Mary Fuller and her husband Jim of Quincy
THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Christopher Fuller and his wife Leslie; Jacqueline Schutte and her husband Scott and Patrick Fuller
NINE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Evan, Grace, Cathryn, Jack, Sam and Claire Fuller; Jordan, Blaine and Sauyer Schutte.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother John Meise, and one sister: Jeanette ‘Jay’ Wensing.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 11:00 in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorial may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
