Irma Lee Kansteiner

Irma Lee Kansteiner, age 92, of the Sunset Home, died on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Home. She was born on May 9, 1926 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Grover & Eva (Hammer) Huner. She married Donald Frank Kansteiner on July 2, 1960 in the St. Francis Chapel.

Irma worked at Brower Manufacturing for 39 years. She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Irma is survived by:
EIGHT SIBLINGS: Melba Agard of Quincy; Pat Fleer of Lewistown, MO; Phyllis Toliver of Maywood, MO; Jack Huner and his wife Joann of Quincy; Jerry Huner of Quincy; Lou McGlaughlin of Quincy; Edward Huner and his wife Charlotte and Kay Seals and her husband Stanley of Maywood, MO.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, Irma was preceded in death by her parents, and four siblings: Cleve Huner, Wayne Huner, Eula Niekamp and Oneta Burner.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to Camp Callahan or to the Great River Honor Flight.
