Iris Bell, age 89, of 629 York, died on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 10, 1929 in Bonner Springs, Kansas the daughter of George and Alice (McDanield) Shaw. She married Raymond L. “Doc” Bell on April 17, 1949 in Bushnell, IL. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Bell was a Nurse for the Adams County Health Department from 1972 until her retirement in 1988.

She is survived by:
THREE SONS: Timothy Bell and his wife Marian, Kris Bell and his wife Susan and Scott Bell.

In addition to her husband, Iris was also preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers: Gayle, Mark and Warren Shaw.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.
