Howard “Howie” D. Goodwin, age 52, of the Hotel Elkton, Quincy, died on Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was born on July 9, 1958 in Quincy, the son of Harold “Bud” & Jenny (Martin) Goodwin. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1976. He enjoyed drawing, camping, reading and music.

Howie is survived by his father, Bud Goodwin of Liberty
Several aunts & uncles: Teresa Goodwin Martineau and her husband John, Karon Goodwin, Sharon Goodwin, Jerry Goodwin and his wife Carol, Billie Goodwin and his wife Linda, Sandra Goodwin Edmonson and her husband Bob.
Several Special Cousins: Tori Burton and her special friend Gary, Dave Goodwin and his wife Kim, Shawn Goodwin, Scott Goodwin and his wife Kelly, Sheila Edmonson, Kim Dickerson and her husband Tom, Chris Goodwin and his wife Denesse, Kyla Crosby and her significant other Josh, Dusty Crosby and his significant other Jessica, Lori Jones and her husband Daniel, Bobby Heaton and his wife Gussie, Vicki Deter, Rogette Vaughn and Jodi Hedges.
Also many 2nd cousins survive.
Howie was preceded in death by his mother Jenny, cousin Kevin Edmonson, Grandmother and Grandfather: Virginia and Bud Goodwin.

Howie, being the loving and giving person that we all knew and loved has given his body to medical science in hopes of enhancing medical procedures by aspiring physicians. There will be a Memorial Service held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Clat Adams Park for all family and friends. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Blessing Hospital and a special thanks to Jana Speed for her love and support.
